Another Bow To The Pandemic

We’ve all made concessions in our lives to adapt to this awful, strange pandemic that we now just call COVID. As I’ve said before, I recognize how lucky I am to have a job that hasn’t been taken away or restricted, and that provides me an opportunity to do meaningful work. Now, though, my publisher and I have made a strategic decision about my new novel that I need to share with you.

Once I’ve finished a book, my favorite marketing activity is speaking and signing books. I know, social media is supposed to be the key, and I try, but I’m an old guy, and I still like talking to a real crowd and meeting people kind enough to be interested in what I’m writing. Since that is not currently possible, Warren Publishing and I have decided to delay release of Eddie’s Boy until early 2021. We’re hoping things get better sometime in 2021 and that I can hit the road to bookstores and libraries and book festivals, hopefully one near you. So, I’m sure you have other books on your list, and I hope the wait is worth it. You’ll be hearing from me between now and then, for sure.

I am sure it will be worth the wait.
